Farm, Kinlochard, By Aberfoyle
This
working farm dates back to 1474. An enchanting lochside
retreat, it is located in the heart of the Trossachs within
Scotland's first National Park.
A mere 50 minute drive from Glasgow airport, 90 minutes
from Edinburgh airport, or indeed a short hop by sea plane
(for that memorable arrival), this beautiful and historic
venue was recorded in the minutes of the Privy Council of
the Kings of Scotland. It also served as an annual gathering
place for Clan Gregor for over 500 years and now offers
you the opportunity to share this experience by hosting
your gathering here too!
As
a guest of the Woods family (father and son team Fergus
and Gregor) your every whim will be attended to, ensuring
you're treated to the 'true' scottish experience.
Fergus
also performs in the world famous Kinlochard Ceilidh band,
and both Fergus and Gregor can additionally exercise their
charismatic charms as Master of Ceremonies for your unforgettable
event.
